Description: Looks a lot like the Protea gauguedi but according to my protea book these are found in the northern Transvaal whereas this one was growing on the side of the road outside Kleinmond in the Western Cape. I also saw a specimen in a garden in Rooi Els. The leaves match the description for the gauguedi.
