Description: One of the restoration attempts. Of about 200 seedlings planted in 2009, about 50 survived one year, but Working for Wetlands alien clearing team pulled 30 of these out, mistaking them for Acacia longifolia. Currently about 5 males alive and 3 females, 2 of the females with quite a few cones already. Pollen comes off in clouds: so probably wind pollinated, although often (not today) lots of insects seen about.
