Protea nubigena seedhead and leaves
looking down on the bulk of the P. nubigena population
Protea nubigena on rock on the left side
the ridge approaching the P. nubigena population (sorry I couldn't resist)

Very small statured plant with small leaves growing on cliff faces. No plants were in flower, although many had old seedheads.

Location: Royal Natal park
