Description: Cormous geophyte, 64cm. Leaves sword-shaped. Bracts outer: 8mm*3mm, inner: 8mm*3.5mm, pointed. Both green with red tips. Stem has upright branches. Flowers pink, tube elongate, slender, narrow lower part 15mm*2mm, narrow cylindrical upper part 15mm*6mm. Tepals 15mm*8mm. Filaments arcuate, inserted into mouth of tube, 40mm long with purple anthers. Style divided at level of anthers into 3 deeply recurved style branches. Unscented. Wet site. The flowers are usually red to purple, but sometimes pink, orange or cream.
