Description: After previously commenting on a parasitic beefly larvae attached to a baboon spider, I came across this wolf spider on Thursday, with the same larvae attached to its pedicel. Hopefully someone recognises this larvae, and can comment further.

Description: Surprisingly large Bomby, the flowerhead it is on is around 30mm-40mm. It flew from scabby to scabby methodically plunging its proboscis into each flower on the head, slowly rotating clockwise (or was it anti-clockwise?) until it has done each one, barely ever resting its wings.

Description: I took many photos of beeflies this day and may have got some mixed up. There is a beetle in the last photo - Riaan and Johan, if you think the pic is good enough to get some sort of ID I will load it as another ob.

Description: I have seen these flies on the orange Drosanthemums (speciosum & bicolor), and nowhere else. And all orange Drosanthemums have them. They seem to be pretty specific in their association according to my observation...
