Description: After previously commenting on a parasitic beefly larvae attached to a baboon spider, I came across this wolf spider on Thursday, with the same larvae attached to its pedicel. Hopefully someone recognises this larvae, and can comment further.

Description: this robberfly maneuvered his victim across the sand and to a variety of hanging posts before deciding on the perfect spot (there again perhaps he was shunning the camera and eventually gave up the cause). The robberfly did appear to prefer to concentrate on the prey while suspended from the vegetation by one foot though, meanwhile the tiny black fly was sneaking its own feast
