Environment. On top of the hill in heavily grazed area.Plant. Low shrubLeaves. Tri foliate, short stalks, leaves tipped. Not particularly hairy.Inflorescence. Very open, some only one or twp flowers.Flowers. Pea like, but no so clasical shape.Bracts. See pics

Description: Was very difficult to get a photo of the growth style of this species because they are always under the canopy of another species. The soil was to hard to dig into and in a fragile habitat like this I did not want to cause damage. I believe it must have a root stock because it is not a succulent shrub and the few stems above ground are fragile, also it is growing in summer, the area where it is growing did not receive any rain since September last year.

Description: Tall spindly grey-leafed plant stands above vegetation. Flowers are yellow but darken to apricot colour. Stands are clones with large underground root systems. Regular burning is beneficial.

Description: Information from Charles Stirton on the identification features of this species is"(2-lipped fused stipules). The calyx is also bi-labiate (2-tongued: two upper lobes and a fused 3-lip lower). The stipule is clearly shown in the 4th image.
