An occasional weed in lawns

An occasional weed in lawns in the northern suburbs (over the Boerewors curtain) in Cape Town.

You must be very careful

about what you say about the Boerewors Curtain. I live there and we can always arrange a search party to find you !!! We only appreciate nice little words.

But I did not say anything

But I did not say anything about the poor people living on the wrong side ...
Read it carefully: nothing untoward was uttered.

You are very lucky

Be sure not to say anything untoward about our plants as well. The might just call in the "mag" as in B....mag !

You will please note

You will please note below that I was very careful not to cast aspersions on your bountiful flora. I even had a few nice things to say about it. I am sure oom At and Jurie Steyn would have been impressed.

You should not

Only have a "few" nice things to say about our flora, you should have a lot of nice things to say about it. Always keep in mind that "we" now also have direct contact with the IRA. Big Brother is watching you.

Tony

theres still many weeds i havnt seen, ithink im too busy braaing the wors....i must look in lawns for more flowers....its where i need to spend some time....:)

These orchids have an

These orchids have an unpleasant smell which gives me an instant headache.

I would not call it

I would not call it unpleasant, but it is certainly different.

How would you describe the smell?: I find I dont have a suitable lexicon ...

I am not sure how to describe

I am not sure how to describe it myself. It's a bit sweet, a bit soapy. Dunno. All I know is that it instantly makes me feel queasy and I get a headache if I breathe in too much of the scent. Some of the pterygodiums affect me the same way.

its a bit of mix of scents

I can imagine a cross of sheeps piss with a bit of cleaning ammonia....?
Did i hit the "I" spot

A little sweeter than that

A little sweeter than that and not quite as acrid! :)
