Glossary:

Can we have a page with a glossary? I seem to spend half my life looking up words, the latest being "apotheca" - A disk-shaped or cup-shaped ascocarp of some lichens and the fungi Ascomycetes.

It would be great to have a dictionary page with words and their meanings - starting with apotheca moving to ascocarp; whizzing to glaucus and glumes; and then ending triumphantly with zygomorphic, all in alphabetic order with their definitions.

It would make me happy!

Lovely idea, but the wheel is already invented

A splendid idea, except for the poor sucker who has to compile it! Unless we compile it collectively, but that becomes an editorial nightmare.

or

to name but the top three that Google offered and I checked.

wonderful words

If JK Rowling had heard about glaucus and glumes, it would be a thriving little business on Diagon Alley.
