Description: Plants with characteristic yellowish bands and striations on the upper leaf surface, with spots higher up and finer striations and spiny spots on the underside over two thirds of the length of the leaf. The greyish green leaves are strongly spiralling, sometimes to such extend that two or three leaves coil together.
Currently considered as a very rare species. Current known localities are Bloemfontein, Zeerust and Gauteng. Therefore this locality is an extension of the distribution in an area previously not known to occur in.
