On a trip to Tunisia in the 1990s I came across an orange-flowered Oxalis from South Africa that also had similar proliferation of petals (no functional stamens, all converted to petals). It was a major pest in Olive plantations between the trees as they harrowed between the trees to plant wheat. As the Oxalis produced lots of bulbils it was easily propagated vegetatively by the harrowing. When flowering it was truly spectacular!!

I do not know what the species was but I did make a spirit collection and this will be in the (K) Kew Gardens spirit collection.
Bulb
is smaller than 10 mm, so you've got it right I believe! Thank you!
Tunisia Oxalis
Do you have any idea what Oxalis it might have been Charlie? Not many orange-flowered Oxalis...although O. glabra is one of them.
