Description: I saw a fox early in the morning in a kikuyu pasture where ewes were grazing with their newborn lambs. Upon seeing people, the fox bounded away into the neighbouring farm. The sheep seemed completely indifferent to its presence.

Description: If people: surely they would have taken the combs. Obvious choice is Ratel - but surely none on Peninsula? So Porkypine - not heard of this, but why not? At base of rotting pine stump from before 2000 when there were still pine plantations here. (almost lost in the recesses of distant history and lets hope the lesson is never forgotten! Fynbos is not good economically for agriculture/silviculture!)
