Description: 9/10/13: Collected some of the eggs and will rear as best I can... Apparently they like Acacia karroo, which is easy peasy?! 29/10/13: Twenty days to hatching. Little black pillars with white afros. {They hatched, they hatched!!} 08/11/13: First moult (instar 2). Slightly larger (obviously) with an orange blush. Pic 10942 shows the exuvium (is that the right word?) which looks like half a caterpillar. 14/11/13: Second moult (instar 3). Much larger with bright orange bristles and a walrus moustache. 23/11/13: Third moult (instar 4).

Description: Distribution of this moth seems to be Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Zimbabwe (www.africanmoths.com); Or as Riaan Stals put it "from W Cape to Zimbabwe". Does this mean any type of area (e.g. coastal, mountainous) between the south and north of this distribution area?
